Citizen Science is the idea that members of the public, who are nonprofessional scientists can help in the collection and interpretation of scientific data. Some examples of Citizen Science include the the monitoring of stellar phenomena (e.g., stars, planets and galaxies), the monitoring of wild life cameras and the interpretation of ancient manuscripts.
