Knowledge Bias (Why do we sometimes assume that other people have the same understanding of something?)
The Knowledge bias, a brief explanation
What is the Knowledge Bias?
The knowledge bias is the tendency to believe that when communicating an idea to other people they have the same knowledge, background and understanding of the idea as we do.

Example
During a speech at a workplace to colleagues you may automatically assume that the audience has exactly the same knowledge, background and understanding of the material as we do.
